here i am

alone again

pitiful

where i began

in the womb

afraid to trust

clinging for life

with one last thrust

colours are black

right is wrong

truths are lies

and i carry on...

can i bear

becoming adult?

real tears, real fears

on the senses, an assault

what can i do

to prevent this aging?

to stop the time,

lost to staging?

there's no option for me

but only one;

many won't like it

but it has to be done...

perhaps a little arsenic,

a rope or a blade,

pills galore,

a silent fade

just let go

it's time for me,

the trip is vast

beyond the sea

the horizon holds,

lands unfound

where dreams and aspirations

await in mounds

so i cast off now

eyes foward and abound;
